OMG, where is Texas?
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell you how excited I am about the Georgetown location- right near work!
ReplyDeleteI totally love the picture. Vintage Hollywood glam meets Vampire and Dark Age. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting! I remember seeing your counter in Oxford Street last year and knew you were going to be huge. Well done Illamasqua, keep up the fantastic work. World domination!

What's the name of the red vamp lipstick of the model in the pic
ReplyDelete@ Sara - Powell Street; I've been hearing a lot about this Sephora - is it a really big one or something?
ReplyDelete@ Bernadette - Hopefully Texas will be sometime soon! I used to live in Houston so hopefully there will be one there!
@ Lynniiieee - This pic was taken at our first ever press day, in April 2008!
@ Anonymous - It looks like Howl to me - a dark browny red - a bit like Severe Medium Pencil but less grape-toned
how come chicago is not on the list? it's a major city too along with the listed ones...no fair!
ReplyDeleteCome to Canadaaaaaa *sob*
ReplyDeleteWell, on the other hand, I guess this justifies a trip to NYC :D
Canada soon? I continue to wish ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled to be able to buy this in my own city, although I wish they'd pick up the full range of colors.
ReplyDeleteRe: Powell St store-I think it was the 2nd US store Sephora opened but not sure. The store was originally on Stockton street, but moved around the corner a few years ago. Its not any larger than most Sephora's, but maybe we have more makeup addicts here :-)
Will there be any Illamasqua artists or events at the Sephora stores?
I am really hoping that you decide to move into the Tucson AZ store as well. I know the MA's there want you and the customers certainly do. Please, please, please!!!
ReplyDeletePLEASE open a store in Chicago!!!! I can never get all the things I want because its a pain with shipping :( and I love your stuff! I've been importing it for over 6 months now....Please open a store in Chicago!
ReplyDeleteThanks...and the makeup is amazing!
I realize this was probably not entirely Illamasqua's decision on what stores to go into (more a Sephora corporate decision) but NO STORES, not ONE in the Midwest? Are you kidding me? The middle of the US is not just a barren cornfield. Chicago should have been included for sure. Come on, was 10 stores just in NYC really flipping NECESSARY? Give me a break.
