If I were to win this giveaway, I would love to try the Sealing Gel. This 100 degree weather melts makeup off my face and I would love to use something that not only intensifies my eyeshadow and liner, but helps keep it on all day! I also wouldn't mind trying a Cream Blusher in "Dixie" to match my warm skintone.
I would undoubtedly pick a powder blush - on such a blush trip at the moment. One of your pigmented lipglosses wouldn't go amiss either!

ReplyDeleteIf i was lucky enough to win, I would chose the powder brush because i own a few illamasqua brushes (not this one unfortunately!) & have been eyeing it up for while!
I would also chose a blush, because illamasqua blushes are the best i have ever used from ny brand & i rave & recommend them all the time to everyone!
Another thing i would love is the liquid metals palette! I dont own any of the liquid metals so all in one palette would be amazing!
To top it off (if i had any cash spare!) i would get a lipstick (or two!) in liv and liar. These both look gorgeous, barbie pinks, which i love! & i own a couple of illamasqua lipsticks and i know the quality is spot on!

ReplyDeleteAs I'm really poorly equipped when it comes to brushes, I would probably go for all of those lovely face brushes (although I'd probably exchange the foundation brush for the blending brush 2)- the quality is so great and I love the fact they are synthetic!

I think I'd split it between blushes 'n' brushes. I've recently developed a rampaging illamasqua addiction and I'm trying to replace my mac brushes with your lovely cruelty free face products - having bought the face and body kabuki, I'm hooked. And who can resist a good blush? I've got primal, rumour and mischief in my basket for contouring - perfect use for some brushes!

ReplyDeleteFree Illamasqua cosmetics - where to start?! Perhaps with some Liquid Metal in "Surge", complemented with some showstopping lashes (no. 10 please!). I also fancy a go with the Eye Brow Cake. A tube of "Tramp" for the lips, and some "Untold" varnish for my nails. If that's not too greedy, I'd top up with my favourite matte primer! Sorted.

Way too much to choose from but let approach this in a logical way (so very unlike me.. ) like building a resorting a beautiful piece of furniture (and for that matter I would be a armour for no other reason than liking saying the word) . First the you need to prep the surface with Illumine and Illuminator then onto Primer then foundations then on with the firs coat otherwise known as the blusher – applied with the “correct tools” of the Kabuki Body Brush, Foundation Brush and then Blending Brush. Then the engaging eyes and then the luscious lips – which are of course the finishing touches… no wait you still need to “fill in” the other areas… with polish – nail polish that is.

I've also heard so much about Illamasqua's lipsticks that I'd have to get one of those - I like the look of Avenge and Over!

I would get the new light liquid foundation in LF 200, lipsticks in Box and Scandal, one of cream blush in Seduce, intense lipgloss in Besotted, sheer lipgloss in Tantrum, medium pencils in Vow and Errant, nail polishes in Baptiste and Lament. Oh, filling up this imaginary cart feels so good!

I would love to try the new Light Liquid Foundation in 115 as it looks perfect for my super pale skin. I've also been dying to try the Intense Lip gloss in Indulge. I already have a million bright pink lip glosses but you can never have too many! Oooh, and the eye shadow palette in Pink Smoke looks amazing as well.

ReplyDeleteWell, I recently got a tattoo apprenticeship for myself, and while this is super awesome for my tattooing career, it's bad news for my pockets (apprenticeships = a pittance of a wage) and my glam side, because I'm always in a rush to do some more drawing, or study, or help out around the studio.
I'd really love a full, new, shiny set of makeup to let my poor, suffering, inner Goth girl let herself shine, rather than hide her away with headbands, grungey clothes and no makeup like I have been doing lately. For shame, I know!
So, dear Santa, whoops, I mean Illamasqua, please let my long-suffering Goth self have Illumine Oil in Volt (to give myself a glow, even when I'm rushed); matt primer; Rich liquid foundation in pure white (gotta have the GAWTH PALLOR, darling); nail varnish in Untold (even the Wicked Witch of the West had a weakness for ruby sparkles!); lipstick in Fetish (purple is the new black, darklings); Loose powder in pure white (because the finish and set is just as important as the base!); volume mascara in Harness and liquid eyeliner in Shatter, because my eyes are hiding behind recently acquired glasses, and I want them to pop again!
So, Illamasqua, please... as a brand that knows drama and makeup are essential in a girl's life, please please PLEASE help me put the drama and makeup back into my life... and I'll even send you photos of my glammed up self clutching my tattoo machines.

ReplyDeleteI know for sure I'd love one of the stellar powder blushes in the color Hussy, and a rich liquid foundation for perfect skin to put it on! I've also been lusting after the intense lipglosses in Frenzy and Besotted (SO gorgeous!!), and don't even get me STARTED on the nail polish. Given that the nail polish was the very first thing to introduce me to the world of Illamasqua, I would finish up this dream haul with nail varnishes in Phallic, Baptiste, Whack, and Insanity.
I've been following this blog and brand for about a year now, and - alas - haven't yet been able to afford any products save my beloved Rampage nail varnish. What a treat it would be to win!

ReplyDeleteFirstly I would choose your light liquid foundation in LF120 and LF115 as i tried them long ago and was colour-matched to a mix of the two (seeing as it's been revamped i may be different now but i haven't tested them since so i don't know). Then i would get a powder blush as i already have one (Nymph) and love it, it's probably the best blush i own. I think i would try Sin as i don't have any colours remotely like it in my collection and i love the idea of a violet blush. Then i'd get the eye brow brush because i remember seeing it used on the lips in a video and thought the look was amazing.
Then i'd get the intense lipgloss in Rage as it's one of the only colour of those that i don't have yet and glossy white lips seem very cool. Lipstick is my favourite makeup product so i'd get a couple of those, i think i'd choose Liv and Perilous. I'd also get the medium pencil in Paint as i love how they are multi-purpose and i've just got a sheer yellow gloss (Sleek's Lemon Meringue) and need a pencil underneath to make it opaque on my lips.
And last but not least i'd get a nail polish and i'd choose Muse as i've wanted it for a long time. And then the remaining money i would give to the SOPHIE fund :)
